Buddy

My dad and Pam lost one of their babies yesterday. Buddy, who was a shih tzu and one of the cutest little guys ever, got out of the yard and was hit by a car. His back and pelvis were just too broken to be fixed, it looked as though the car ran over his back end, so he had to be put to sleep. I know he had lots of pals waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge, but it really hurts to lose one of your furkids. My heart goes out to Dad, Pam and the remaining furkids, Buster and Bailey.

A big Thank YOU to whoever the woman was who stopped when she saw him lying on the side of the road and took him to the vet. Apparently, not everyone in this world is so kind.

How sad! I feel so bad for them.

I heard a tale once of a man who either hit a cat or saw one get hit. He not only stopped to pick up the cat and take it to the emergency vet, he also offered to pay the bill. :) The vet's office was kind enough to say no thank you. I guess the cat had been a stray, and one of the vet techs ended up adopting her.

It's very sad that there aren't more people out there like that. So many people are so callous. *sigh*

Thank God for the nice people that are out there. I know sometimes they seem to be few and far between but thank God for them. I guess you would call them angels here on earth? Maybe no go that far? I'm glad that Buddy is with our furry friends and not afraid of storms anymore. :)
Take care,
Miss
