Stop the screaming!

I need a new montior for home. This one is driving me insane. It's about 6 or 7 years old and it has this high-pitched whining sound that just goes on and on and on, when you've been on the computer for more than 10 minutes. The dogs get up and leave the room and about 5 minutes later I can hear it. Steve can't hear it, so it's my problem. (Grrrrr) And CompUSA went out of business or moved or something, and I hate Best Buy so I may have to mosey down to Office Depot or whatever to see about a new monitor. Darn it.
