It's Freaky Friday!

Ben ate another set of headphones today. In case you're keeping score, that's Ben 3, headsets 0. I know the iPod was on my nightstand because I had just gotten done listening to it, when I heard this crunching noise from under the bed. I really wasn't too upset, this was the headset that came with the iPod, I was really mad about the work headset and the JVC headset a few months ago. Darn dog! I wonder what the fascination is for him. Steve took me to Best Buy and I got another JVC headset. I love those marshmallow-y in ear pieces they have. They really block Steve's snoring when I listen in bed! I really liked the way the Bose sounded, but really, $179 for a headset the dog is no doubt going to chew up again anyway?

My ortho surgeon called today with the official diagnosis, the tumor was a fibroma, totally benign. I asked him how many stitches he put in and he asked me if I had changed the bandage yet -- hello, if I had changed the bandage don't you think I'd know how many stitches were in it? Anyway, the nurse at the hospital told me not to change the dressing until I went in to see him. I thought 10 days was a little excessive, but I was just following orders... He told me I could change the bandage and I could get it wet, just not soak it in the bathtub. I wish he would have called before I took my bath, that was an adventure... Anyway, that was good news all around. I hear fireworks... I gotta go see them...
