Sick furbaby

Well, the news on Sophie isn't very encouraging. She started out with bronchitis last week, but then started vomiting and not being able to poop. The vet that we really like saw her yesterday and did x-rays. There wasn't an obvious obstruction on the x-ray, but that really wasn't conclusive to today she had to go back and have x-rays with barium to see where the blockage is. I'm pretty sure we're going to have to put her down if there is a blockage, the surgery is more than we can afford right now with all the other stuff that's been going on, so... Plus, Dr. J said the last time he had a dog with these symptoms the blockage turned out to be a cancerous tumor, they did a bowel resection, and the dog died a week later anyway. I'm just about sick, I've been crying so much. Didn't sleep very much last night either. It's only been 2 years this month since we had to put Charlie down and this is HARD. I'll hear from the vet later today and then post an update. Please pray for my Sophie.
