Good luck Marc!

My brother is going skydiving for the first time tomorrow! He says if I stand on my back porch (in Nebraska) about 12:15 p.m. I should hear him screaming on the way down (from California). LOL! That's how I feel when I look at those bungee rides at the Iowa State Fair every year! No way. I couldn't sky dive, I hate heights and I'd be so freaking scared I couldn't pull the cord, but hey, go for it man! Then you can tell me all about it!

Booooo Hisssssss

Today had all the makings of a crappy day before I went to bed last night and I wasn't disappointed... Amber called last night asking me to please make amends with her mother. That's not going to happen. Of course that conversation wasn't quite that simple, but that's how it ended. I know she's disappointed, but that just life. I talked to Mel for quite awhile today about it too, and then Marc called and we're kind of all in the same boat as far as that's concerned. She doesn't get it, she never will, and I'm tired of wasting my time on a one-way relationship with somebody I can't trust. Basically, that's it.

Then I talked to the admissions people today at the school I was considering. Things looked good but Steve decided he doesn't want me to go back to school. We can't afford it. How stupid of me. It doesn't have anything to do with ham radios, beer or wine making, thus it's stupid and not worth the money. I keep forgetting I don't have a husband I have Ruler who decides what I can and can't do. Sometimes I just start feeling like a normal person again and then he reminds me that I don't really have a life outside of this house unless he approves it. Silly me.

The weather fits the day, all cloudy and gloomy. No rain though, so I guess that's a good thing. The hayfever is driving me crazy though. I got some generic brand antihistamine today when I had to go get a prescription refilled, it better work. The other day even my face was itching. My eyes itch, my ears itch, my throat itches.... Remind me of this when I'm complaining about 20 degree weather and 2 feet of snow!

My carpet just came in and will be installed Tuesday at noon! Hurrah! That's one room in the house that I can control anyway. I can't wait!
